The tourist market is in District 1, Ben Thanh. When visiting this spot, you can go to many shops to shop for souvenirs, clothing, street foods and even fresh fruits and vegetables. The first impression for visitors is the diversity of goods and the noise of the atmosphere. The crowd and tourists navigate through the rather cramped store aisles. Cu Chi Tunnels is famous for its design and the purpose that it was constructed. It is located far from Ho Chi Minh City about 70 kms to the northwest. During the Vietnam war, Viet Cong soldiers built this construction with a 250 km network manually. Although It was just a system of underground tunnels but became a place of residence, clinic, and supply line for the Viet Cong. Thanks to the construction,  the Viet Cong thus could hide from the enemy.

If you have a chance to visit Cu Chi Tunnels, you can see and feel the deadlocks due to the narrow space.
